Internship
Profiles:
Jeffrey Taylor
 Jeffrey
Taylor is originally from Brampton, Ontario. He is pursuing a B.A.
in Environmental Studies at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.
He was inspired to participate in this program because he feels
that “diversity needs to be incorporated into agriculture
to help build sustainable farms.” His future goal is to successfully
run a CSA farm. Jeffrey thinks, “Food is something that many
people take for granted, but CSA farms educate people about the
importance of sustainability in agriculture.”
While working at Cedar
Meadow Farm (Steve Groff’s family farm), Jeffrey conducted
a research project on the diversity of microarthropods in different
cover cropping systems.
